Do Re Mi Piano Academy is committed to providing every student with an individualized musical lesson environment that is both nurturing and challenging. To meet this goal we promise to . . .
- maintain a professional studio environment, in my home studio.
- work with each student (and their parents) to define and achieve both short-term and long-term goals.
- provide several performance opportunities throughout the year. These include, but are not limited to . . .
• Spring recital in May
• Christmas recital in December
• Critiqued performances throughout the year
• Nursing Home performances throughout the year - Communicate dates and times well in advance.
- Provide feedback continuously, as well as at the end of each semester.
- Day of lesson cancellations may not be rescheduled. However, I will allow 1 reschedule/student as a "grace period" before enforcing this policy.
- Rescheduling all other lessons during the term will be done on a case by case basis at the discretion of the teacher.
- One or two weeks at the end of the semester are reserved for make-up lessons.

45 min. lesson
- SEMESTER - $860/student

60 min. lesson
- SEMESTER - $1150/student
- MONTHLY - $230/student
- Tuition guarantees your space for 17 lessons/term. It may be paid either monthly or by the semester.
- Payment is due at the first lesson of each semester or each month.
- A $15 fee is incurred for late payments.
- Those who pay for the entire term up front receive a 10% discount.
- There are no refunds or credit offered for missed lessons.
If a student has paid for the full semester and needs to discontinue lessons, a refund may be given up to three weeks into the semester at the discretion of the teacher.

- In order to guarantee your space in the studio in the fall, students are asked to purchase one of the above lesson packages. Students who take the summer off receive last pick when it comes to scheduling a lesson time in the fall, and are not guaranteed a slot if the schedule has filled up.
- While I do my best to limit the number of required materials, students are expected to purchase the recommended piano books to accompany our lessons.
- Students and parents have the option of ordering the books themselves or reimbursing me for their purchase. Amazon carries the majority of the books I require for lessons, and I am happy to send you the necessary links.
- In the event of being unable to meet in person (due to Covid-19 exposure or weather related issues), online lessons will take the place of in person lessons.
- Available platforms include Zoom, Facetime, and Skype, and I am happy to add to that list if a different platform works better for you!
As a student (or legal guardian of a minor), I agree to pay for all services rendered in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the financial policy of the studio, of which I have received a copy. I understand that all fees will be paid before exiting the piano studio and my account balance will remain positive during my time taking lessons. In the event legal action should become necessary to enforce payment of any charges, I agree to be responsible for and pay all reasonable attorney’s fees and costs incurred.
